Dogs are pretty funny animals. They act funny when you put them in certain situations, and they can often be lured to do pretty much anything if you have treats or toys. That being said, we guess you could say they are also pretty simple creatures. All they have ever really wanted was to play with a fun toy, or snack on a tasty treat. Can’t we all relate to that?
There is one video on the Internet that shows a couple of dogs acting like their crazy, silly selves, and it is so cute, it naturally went viral.
Uploaded in May 2015 by Louie The Beagle, the clip went viral.
It is easy to see just why the video went viral — um, because it is adorable? It now clocks in at nearly 7.7 million views with thousands of likes and comments. Everyone in the comment section bonds over their love of dogs too, which is so cute. More specifically, their love of beagles!
“I’m getting a beagle this Sunday,” one person commented. “Love how they’re not afraid to dunk their head under,” another user on YouTube wrote. One viewer even shared a sweet memory about their very own childhood beagle: “I had a beagle when I was a little girl. She was so cute and her white fur on her head was shaped like diamond so that’s what we called her.”
The clip shows a couple of beagles outside, lounging in the sunshine. They look like they are also set up with an optimal amount of fun things, like an air mattress, a kiddy pool, and plenty of toys.
The owner, who is also filming the video, laughs and makes fun of the adorable pups as they dip in and out of the water. At one point, one of the beagles falls into the water. The owner doesn’t help, instead the joyful music just pauses so that we can hear him laugh at the silly dog.
At one point, one dog calmly stands in the pool — clearly enjoying it — as the other dog just stands nearby and sniffs him with curiosity.
When one dog is placed in the pool, he doesn’t stuggle but he also doesn’t look super comfortable. For whatever reason, he keeps hesitating and just can’t seem to place his left back leg in the water along with the rest of his legs and it is so entertaining to watch. After he struggles for a few moments, he finally crawls out of the pool himself.
As both of the dogs lounge on the air mattress and soak up some sun rays, their owner comes over to throw a couple of dog toys in the pool. Suddenly, the lounging dogs show a large amount of interest. Must…play…with…toys, they are probably thinking!
They both get off the mattress and circle around the pool, trying to think of a way to get to the toys. The smaller beagle decides to finally go in and fetch them, but with much hesitation. It takes him such a long time to get in the pool and then when he finally does, he decides he no longer wants to be in there and clumsily crawls out.
