If you’ve never heard of The Barden Bellas, we suggest you put on “Pitch Perfect” fast so you can see why the world adores this crazy-fun group. One of the four known a capella groups in Barden University (watch out for the Treblemakers, the High Notes, and BU Harmonics, as well as other groups in the film), the Bellas used to be big on keeping up tradition: sticking to a routine consisting of timeless hits and donning outfits and hairstyles that stick out from the rest.

That is, until Beca (played by Anna Kendrick) came along. Her eclectic taste in music and strong personality gradually led the Bellas to break out of their comfort zones and tap into a different style – a routine combining the old and new, topped off with loads of attitude and confidence.

The overall theme of Pitch Perfect resonates not just with a capella groups the world over but with people who generally love music, uniqueness, and a fresh take on things. So it makes perfect sense that this bride and her tribe went for the routine Beca helped create in the film.

Surrounded by beautiful bridesmaids donning navy blue dresses, the happy bride surprised her husband with a dance number that had guests grinning and cheering.

Dancing to songs like “Price Tag” by Jessie J, “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds, and “Give Me Everything (Tonight)” by Ne-Yo, the bride tribe put on a fun show for everyone to enjoy, despite evident laughter, nervousness, and stumbling through some steps.

Inspired by The Bellas’ routine in the first “Pitch Perfect” film, this surprise dance number definitely spiced up the wedding reception and served as the perfect way for the bride to finally let loose (bye-bye, wedding stress!).
