There are few things more adorable in life than watching young kids take the stage. Especially when they pull off a dance routine to the King of Pop, you can’t help but ooh and ah. Everyone knows that Michael Jackson had some serious moves. Along with a unique and beautiful voice, no one in the world could dance like him. He was able to move his body in ways that define an explanation.

At a very young age, Michael Jackson started his career as part of the Jackson 5. But it didn’t take long for people to recognize that he was the standout. His ability to belt out a flawless tune while staying incredibly professional made the world fall in love with him. Then when he went out on his own, the music industry changed forever…in a good way.

While Michael Jackson has since passed away, it’s still common to see people imitate him or use his music to dance to. So, when you have an entire group of young boys decked out in black pants, white shirts, and black suspenders, you can’t look away.

Hair slicked back…check –black suspenders…check – too cute for words…check.

There they were – 12 boys ready to show the crowd their moves to Michael Jackson. These kids might’ve been young but you can tell by the looks on their faces they were taking this performance seriously. They wanted to impress the audience and make their dance teacher proud.

Billie Jean, of course.

As soon as the song, Billie Jean, starts playing, the boys dramatically nod their heads to the rhythm. Then strutting their stuff, four boys move forward while the rest stay in the background. They’re even wearing white socks to go with their high-water pants. It’s classic.

They’ve got the moves down.

Grabbing the corners of their sunglasses, more boys move forward. They’re still bobbing their heads in perfect time with the music. As the last row of the boys moves up to join the others, they’re really starting to get into the performance. These kids are giving their legs and hips a little action, which is so cute.

They don’t miss anything.

At one point, the boys get those little hips moving even faster. You can see a slight smile on one of the kids’ faces…I’m not sure if he’s feeling proud of his performance or slightly embarrassed. Either way, you have to admire such young boys who are willing to give the performance everything they have.

These boys deserve a lot of credit.

No, the dance moves aren’t overly complicated. But what makes them so fun to watch is how well they maintain rhythm. Even when doing turns and arm movements, they’re right on the beat. Just watching the video, I wanted to get up and dance with them.

Almost all of Michael Jackson’s songs inspire people to dance. That’s obvious when you watch young kids like this perform to Billie Jean. Often when a great performer dies, the popularity of their music fades to some degree. That’s not the case with Michael Jackson. Today, he’s still loved by millions just as was when he was alive. If you need something to make you smile today, this video is an excellent remedy.
