Having pets is no easy feat. It’s pretty much like taking care of a baby — a baby that goes to the bathroom outside, of course.
All jokes aside though, having pets is certainly a commitment. You have to make sure you are around to feed them, walk them multiple times a day, and give them love and affection (which is so important!). For most people, because of this reason, having one or two pets at the most is usually enough.
Not for this woman though! Stephanie Moratto is a serious animal lover. In fact, she loves animals so much, she has 40 pets and runs a whole farm. She consistently takes to Instagram to share her love for animals, whether or not they are hers, and it is absolutely adorable.
Late last year, she also took to her YouTube channel to explain her morning routine and how she manages to take care of all her animals at the start of the day to her curious subscribers.
In the video she covers just about everything that goes down. She has 4 horses, 3 dogs, 2 pigs, 3 cows, 3 cats, 2 turkeys, and wait for it… 25+ chickens. She must have a lot of eggs for breakfast, that’s for sure!
First, Moratto gets up and takes care of the usual, boring personal stuff like getting dressed, brushing her teeth and doing her makeup. Classic for most people!
But then the time comes to take care of her sweet animals.
First, she greets her dogs and lets her pigs out of their cage and immediately fills up their water bottle (using a huge jug of water). At this point, her pigs and horses have already eaten because Moratto’s fiance got up before her to go to work, so she knows he took care of that.
The dogs and the rest of the animals still have to eat, so Moratto lets everyone outside to roam while she gets their food bowls ready.
While the dogs eat and some milk warms up, Moratto goes outside to get a few more things done. This day is a little extra special though, because when she went outside she found that a couple of baby chicks had hatched!
When she comes back inside, she gives some medication to one of her dogs who needs it since they have epilepsy.
After that, she goes back outside with her warm milk and feeds Jolene, her baby cow. While she’s in the barn, she also says hello to her little kittens! Then she proceeds to feed the rest of her animals.
While they eat, she says hello to her horses! She also takes a moment to realize she needs to clean one of them, and then continues to hang out with her beloved animals.
Then she lets her chickens and turkeys out and they are free to roam. Then Moratto spots a turkey egg!
Then she lets the horses out and uses the opportunity to clean their stalls.
It takes so much love, care and time to take care of all these animals, and Moratto is clearly crushing it! Watch how the rest of her routine goes down in the full video below.
